The President of Z Microsystems came to ROGOV with the specific request that we create an unfolding desk that is to be used by the marines and other deployed transit case rackmount applications. The wish was that we come up with with a compact folding desk that could have come from the up-scale Herman Miller office product catalogue. The Expander 1 and Expander 2 unfolding desk system is the result. Manufactured as a CNC machined aluminum structure and aluminum sheet metal with a tough abrasion resistant powder coated finish.
