Desk Architecture was launched to coincide with the 2010 Palm Springs Modernism Week. A yearly event promoting public awareness of the desert’s mid-century modern design and architecture. The event’s educational and charitable activities celebrate postwar design aesthetic and culture.
The vision behind Desk Architecture is to offer discriminating customers more than just watches, personal jewelry or abstract art, but also to offer an exciting new take on previously mundane products, resulting in fine art objects that are not only functional, but express deeper connections in our social rituals and human interaction.

Video 1 - Inspiration & Execution is a candid walk through the "elegant ashtray" development for Desk Architecture. From influence and concept, to computer numeric control (CNC) machining setup, and all the way to Mayfair House on Beverly Blvd., the Los Angeles showroom.

Desk Architecture brings individual items that have dwelled together in the real world for centuries, into a cohesive theme for the first time. The result is an integrated and elegant contrast other ad hoc selections.
Manufactured in polished black nickel, silver or 24-karat gold plate, each piece ships in a white-lacquered gift-box, along with a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity.
Desk Architecture brings distinction to the most discerning modern and classic spaces with a complementary palette of modernism, art and design.
