ABOUT VLADYMIR ROGOV |
Industrial designer Vladymir Rogov graduated from Guilford School of Art and Design in the UK., and kicked off a career designing trade show exhibits for mega-brands that include Chrysler, Fiat, Ford, and Rank Xerox: sleek home products such as glassware for Cascade; lighting for Compagnie des Lampes, France; home products for Marks & Spencer’s, Habitat and the Conran store.
The list goes on with coolers for Coleman; luxurious bathroom systems for Boeing; exotic seating for Aston Martin; a self-serve gas station for (Imperial Oil) Exxon; printers for Hewlett-Packard; motion capture cameras for Kodak; point of purchase displays for Yamaha; TV’s for Samsung; clocks and musical instruments for Casio.
His designs have also proven successful in the military market, and venerable Department of Defense programs such as: Cobra Ball, Rivet Joint, A2C2S and SPAWAR--integrated by global defense contractors that include: Northrop Grumman, General Dynamics, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon and L3.

Rogov's design of the McLeyvier electronic synthesizer translated into a prestigious: Design Canada Excellence Award, and mega-artist, Stevie Wonder, exclaimed, “Man I sure love the look of this," as he placed his hands over the instrument.
Born of Russian parents, and raised in Germany and England, Rogov holds five US patents and has received numerous international awards, including two “International Design Excellence Awards” (IDEA) from the Industrial Designers Society of America.
He has lectured at Ontario College of Art, and held Faculty positions at Georgian College, Barrie, Conestoga College, Kitchener and Fanshaw College, London.
He is a long standing student mentor with the IDSA, a member of MIT Enterprise Forum and the Society of Canadian Authors and Composers (SOCAN).
